Here’s Your Record on Romney Flip-Flops..for your records
(Contact Kay Bell: 910-270-0411, firstname.lastname@example.org)
Since the press, is talking about Rick Perry’s finger pointing at Mitt Romney’s flip-flops, I thought it might be prudent to clarify such for your records. There is much more on this in my book, but since the press is obviously not cognoscente of Mitt’s true record, or purposely ignoring his true record, there is no excuse to cover for Romney on this subject matter anymore. (any information that does not have a reference behind it can be looked up and covered in my book, Can Mitt Romney Serve Two Masters”)
Romney to Reuters’ James Pethokoukis in March 2009: “The TARP program, while not transparent and not having been used as wisely it should have been, was nevertheless necessary to keep banks from collapsing in a cascade of failures.”
Romney at the Values Voters summit in September 2009: “When government is trying to takeover health care, buying car companies, bailing out banks, and giving half the White House staff the title of czar – we have every good reason to be alarmed and to speak our mind!”
Romney in 1994: “I believe that abortion should be safe and legal in this country.” “I have since the time that my mom took that position when she ran in 1970 as a US candidate. I believe that since Roe v. Wade has been the law for 20 years we should sustain and support it.”
Planned Parenthood questionnaire in 2002: Question: Do you support the substance of the Supreme Court decision in Roe v. Wade? Romney’s answer: Yes
July 26, 2005 Op-ed in the Boston Globe: “I am pro-life.
After a phony pro-life conversion based on embryonic stem cell research, stated that such research does not destroy human life, even though he believes life begins at conception, and continued to support such Nazi-like research.Instituted a health care program in Massachusetts that includes a $50 co-pay for abortion at taxpayer’s expense after his “pro-life conversion”Gave Planned Parenthood an instrumental role on the policy board in his Massachusetts healthcare plan after his “pro-life conversion”. Appointed a pro-choice judge to a lifetime appointment on a Massachusetts court after his “pro-life conversion”.
Romney in 1994: Romney’s letter to Log Cabin Republicans: “As we seek to establish full equality for America’s gay and lesbian citizens, I will provide more effective leadership than my opponent.”
Bay Windows: Do you support the Protection of Marriage Amendment?
Romney: No, because it would outlaw domestic partner benefits for same-sex couples.
September 2007 interview with Joe Scarborough of MSNBC:
Scarborough: “Do you support a national constitutional amendment to ban same-sex marriage?”
Romney: “Boy, I sure do…ultimately we’re going to have one standard of marriage in this country and that standard ought to be one man and one woman.”
Altered marriage licenses and ordered judges to perform homosexual marriages or else in the state of Massachusetts when no law required him to do so; earning him the title of the Father of Gay Marriage in America.Awarded a Massachusetts district court judgeship to Stephen Albany, part of the Massachusetts Lesbian and Gay Bar Association and a proponent of the repealing of sodomy laws in the Bay StateIncreased funding for the homosexual indoctrination of children in Massachusetts schools
In 1994, Romney informed the Log Cabin Club that he favors ENDA, an intrusive federal law promoted by Congressman Barney Frank which forces acceptance of homosexuality within the corporate world.
December 14, 2006 interview with the National Review:
Q: “And what about the 1994 letter to Log Cabin Republicans where you indicated you would support the Federal Employment Non-Discrimination Act (EDNA) and seemed open to changing the ‘don’t ask, don’t tell’ policy in the military? Are those your positions today?”
Romney: “No, I don’t see the need for new or special legislation. My experience over the years as governor has convinced me that EDNA would be an overly broad law that would open a litigation floodgate and unfairly penalize employers at the hands of activist judges…As for military policy and the ‘don’t ask don’t tell policy,’ I trust the counsel of those in uniform who have set these policies over a dozen years ago. I agree with President Bush’s decision to maintain this policy and I would do the same.”
Romney in 1994: On his support of the Brady Bill and an assault weapons ban: “That’s not going to make me the hero of the NRA.”
Campaign stop in 1994: “I don’t line up with the NRA.”
Boston Globe, January 2007: “He now touts his work as governor to ease restrictions on gun owners. He proudly describes himself as a member of the NRA — though his campaign won’t say when he joined.
Romney Lauds His Healthcare Plan: “Romney’s address today to the Florida Medical Association is designed to go beyond his standard stump speech on his healthcare policy in which he lauds the Massachusetts plan as a way to lower premiums and extend coverage to more people without too much government involvement.” Boston Globe, August 2007
Romney Runs From His Healthcare Plan: “Romney, a former GOP presidential contender and possible 2012 candidate, has insisted his plan is different from Mr. Obama’s, mainly because the Massachusetts plan was state-based. He has even called the implementation of the individual mandate, found in both plans, possibly unconstitutional at the federal level.” CBS, April 2010
Campaign Finance Reform
Romney at a1994 press conference: “These kinds of associations between money and politics in my view are wrong. And for that reason, I would like to have campaign spending limits…I also would abolish PACs…I don’t like that kind of influence.”
Romney’s PAC: “The Commonwealth PACs complied with state rules rather than federal law, allowing some wealthy Romney backers to donate as much as $250,000 to his operation – well above the $2,300 federal cap for individual contributions.”
Americans for Border Security statement in 2007: “In 2006 Governor Romney supported the President’s immigration policy as well as the McCain-Kennedy bill. He expressed support for an immigration program that places large numbers of illegal residents on the path toward citizenship and said illegal immigrants should have a chance to obtain citizenship.”
“Now Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney says he ‘strongly opposes’ the immigration plan also denounced by conservatives even though his public statements suggest he actually agrees with major aspects of the proposal in Congress.” Soren Dayton. “Border Security Group Attacks Romney for Flip-flopping on Immigration.” SorenDayton.com. 30 May 2007. Web. 30 Nov. 2009
The Washington Times, August 2007:“As governor, Mr. Romney wielded control over a significant budget and oversaw three cities that were proud of their designation as ‘sanctuary cities:’ Cambridge, Somerville and Orleans. Yet as governor, Mr. Romney did not cut their funding. He recommended millions of dollars in state funding of them and made no attempt to force these cities to change their policies.”
“His immigration bona fides rest on the ‘deputization’ of the state police that would allow them to arrest illegal immigrants – a law signed less than three weeks before he left office and was never implemented.”
In 2002, Romney refused to sign a no new taxes pledge while running for governor. Did not support the Bush Tax Cuts for which uber liberal Barney Frank stated he was “very pleased” Raised taxes and or fees SEVEN times as Governor of Massachusetts
“Almost five years after he refused to sign a ‘no new taxes’ pledge during his campaign for governor, Mitt Romney announced yesterday that he had done just that, as his campaign for the 2008 Republican presidential nomination began in earnest.” (Boston Globe, January 2007)

Political commentator Tricia Erickson releases an in-depth expose’ into the political, fiscal, personal and religious life of presidential hopeful Mitt Romney. And She’s holding no punches.
Part I: “While he attempts to portray Mormonism as just another Christian Religion, Mitt Romney counts on his skills to shift our attention away from what he truly believes. If the American people knew what he truly believed, they would surely not place him in the highest office in the land.”
Part II: How did Mitt Romney perform as Governor of Massachusetts? Is he truly qualified to turn around the US economy? What’s the real story on his often changing stances?
Mitt Romney Believes:
- He will become a “god” in the afterlife
- Satan is Jesus’ literal brother
- Jesus was NOT born of a virgin birth
- He will be given his own afterlife kingdom where he will call his wife, Ann, into in order to have external sexual relations to populate his kingdom with spirit children
Mitt Romney is NO CONSERVATIVE
- He is the father of Gay Marriage in the US
- Was for abortion and stem cell research before he was against it
- Believes in a religion that’s history is full of racism against Black Americans, native Americans, Jews and more
- Good Economist? Think again
- Olympics? Want the real story?
About the author:
New Book! Former Mormon Bishop’s Daughter and Political Commentator Reveals Real Story on Mitt Romney!
Tricia Erickson, (a Conservative) was the first Damage Control/Crisis Management Specialist in the country, as stated by Barbara Walters on the show “20/20”. Tricia is also a political consultant and on-air contributor. She has opined on many local and national news and entertainment TV and radio shows/networks. She is also the author of the new book “Can Mitt Romney Serve Two Masters? The Mormon Church Versus The Office Of The Presidency of the United States of America.”
Tricia purposely became less active on-the-air in recent years and has not necessarily sought to participate in on-air interviews. However, because of the concern in her heart that for the first time in history, a prominent Mormon could achieve the Office Of The Presidency, she feels a responsibility to educate the public, both in the US and abroad, regarding what this potential Mormon President could truly mean for America. She is an expert on the well-masked cult of Mormonism and a former Mormon Bishop’s daughter who left the church in her early 20’s.
From a political stand point, she believes it is imperative to reveal the facts on Romney’s political record, in opposition to what the Romney camp will shift the voters to believe in order to achieve the Presidency.
We have by now experienced with the current President Obama what smooth words and entertainment imagery, as opposed to substance, can bring to the highest office in the land. Will we make the same mistake again?
Side note: Some of the issues Tricia has been called to speak to in the past are the dangers of Radical Islam, Barack Obama, Mitt Romney, Mormonism, all things political, the imaging-posturing-positioning of Presidential Candidates, the culture wars and more. Her companies: Crisis Management, Incorporated (crisis management and communications) http://crisismanagementincorporated.com/ and Angel Pictures & Publicity (a political and entertainment publicity and consulting company) http://angelpicturesandpublicity.com/.
