How the ‘Grinchy’ Press Attacks Christmas
By Evangelist Alveda King
The Washington Post and other media’s attacks on First Lady Melania Trump, the White House decorations, her attire and the events are just very hurtful.
I don’t understand how that hateful spirit is free to operate, right in the midst of this season, where we should be healing, loving, forgiving, and, for me, celebrating Jesus Christ as an expression of faith.
Yes, we still have religious freedom thanks to President Trump’s leadership. And we joyfully say Merry Christmas again. Yet the attacks on First Lady Trump remain ugly and unmerited. Friends, America is much better than that. To attack a First Lady at all, it’s just wrong.
Christmas in America is always a special time when we still enjoy religious freedom and the opportunity to celebrate the birthday of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior. And yes, we do say “Merry Christmas” very freely and very joyfully again. That was a campaign promise that President Donald John Trump made and he has kept that promise and many others.
This week, I’ll be enjoying the White House Christmas Open House; the fellowship and lovely decorations and more.
Proverbs 31:10 “Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.”
As always, especially under the Trump’s administration, the Christmas decorations are exquisite, creative, filled with artistic splendor, festive, elegant, and celebratory. Thank you First Lady Trump; and your talented staff. God bless you.
While FLOTUS generally doesn’t dignify her haters with endless responses, her response regarding her son is understandable. @FLOTUS: “A minor child deserves privacy and should be kept out of politics. Pamela Karlan, you should be ashamed of your very angry and obviously biased public pandering, and using a child to do it.” Any good mother would do no less. God bless you First Lady.
America, don’t underestimate First Lady Melania Trump or any of the Trump women for that matter. First Lady Trump’s record speaks for itself.
Dear America, after yet another blessed Thanksgiving where some celebrated and some were maybe a little bit sad having lost love ones and other challenges, we are still America. We still live in the greatest country on the planet. We should be thankful for that and approach the Christmas season in unity and Agape love.
Meanwhile, on the home front, along with the White House visit this week, yours truly will be staying closer to home with GG’S HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS, and a new website launch – www.prolifemusicgenre.com, and a new Christmas album, MERRY CHRISTMAS (AGAIN).
And remember always: PRAY FOR AMERICA.
