I am a mother of 3 children and have 6 grandchildren. As a mother and a grandmother, I take the responsibility of my descendant’s and my loved one’s safety very seriously.
Contrary to the irresponsible left-wingers in favor of taking our right to bear the arms needed to protect ourselves, our friends and family’s safety away, I rely not only on my common sense, but also on my God-Given-Right-To-Bear -Arms to do so.
When someone breaks into your house, if you politely ask them to leave, it is highly unlikely that the intruder will say, “Oh, I’m so sorry; I’ll leave at once as you requested”.
When the murderer entered the Pulse Nightclub and shot 49 innocent sitting-duck victims to death and injured 53 others, it would have only taken one bullet from a legally armed citizen to save their lives. Had any of the victims been armed, they could have killed the shooter and saved their own and many additional lives. From 2:02 a.m. to 5:05 a.m. the victims were sitting ducks while the police were outside trying to get their plan together. Had one or two of the people inside the club been armed, it is likely that many, if not all, of the victims would have been saved.
Gabrielle Giffords and eighteen others were shot during a constituent meeting held in a parking lot in Arizona. Just one armed constituent could have stopped the carnage. The same goes for the massacre in a Colorado movie theater, Sandy Hook Elementary School, a service at Charleston SC church and others.
Today there’s another story in the news of a crazed idiot opening fire on a Congressional Baseball team.
When armed intruders break through your doors, will you be a “nice liberal”, offer them coffee and kindly speak to them in a soothing voice to sway them not to kill you and others? Or will you be armed in a way to shoot them in order to save lives … and ask questions later?
